The Episcopal Diocese of South Carolina is heading to a vote October 24th that will determine the future of its 30,000 members. At a special convention in Charleston, church members will vote on 5 resolutions that could pull the Diocese out of the National Episcopal Church's 2-million member congregation. While Bishop Mark Lawrence says the vote is not about a "split," other church members are not convinced. Join The Savage Report October 17 - 23 as we explore the controversy and find out what's brought the Episcopals to the splintering point-- and what happens to Churches, the land surrounding the churches and most importantly, parishioners, if South Carolina secedes. For more information you can visit the Episcopal Diocese and the Episcopal Forum of South Carolina-- between both sites, and The Savage Report, you will be able to get all the information you need. The Savage Report airs every day on Comcast C2, All Local...All the Time.
