TSR: Best Public Affairs Show in the Southeast!

The Savage Report won an Emmy as the Best Public Affairs Program in the Southeast! It was awarded by The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in Atlanta, GA on June 27, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Shortly after receiving the award, Andy Savage said “This was an incredible honor, we could not be happier with the recognition of the excellent work our team has produced over the past year.” Also honored were Executive Producer Dan Krosse, Associate Producer Cheryl Savage, C2Programming Director Charlie Thompson, Director James Dingle, ProductionCoordinator Joe Grammer, Production Assistant Gervais Hagerty and Comcast C2 General Manager Bill Watson. “Our goal is to take people beyond the headlines in a way you won’t see anywhere else in Charleston,” said Executive Producer Dan Krosse. The program has covered a variety of topics including government corruption, crime, terrorism and politics. “We are thrilled about the Emmy and believe more people will realize The Savage Report represents a quality of local programming that is available on Comcast C2,” said C2 Programming Director Charlie Thompson. The Savage
Report airs every night at 8:30pm on Comcast C2 plus a variety of other times throughout
the week (we've listed all the air times over in the right hand column).
